Thank you for your continued interest in the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta (JLCM) Sustainers! As Sustainers, we are proud women who have completed our Active membership and remain dedicated to making a lasting impact in our community. Whether you’re deeply involved or simply lending your support from afar, your membership plays a vital role in helping JLCM fulfill its mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

We are so grateful for your loyal support, it not only sustains the League’s work but also keeps the spirit of friendship, service, and connection alive among our members. We love coming together to reconnect with old friends and welcome new ones through a variety of engaging social and community events.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I become a Sustainer?  

Eligibility is based on age and years of service (40 years old and three years of Active service OR seven years of Active service, regardless of age).

What opportunities are available as a JLCM Sustainer?

Our Sustainers participate in all League activities, including Done in a Day, fall and spring fundraisers, and our special interest groups.

What do I need to know about  annual dues? 

Annual dues are due by April 15. All Sustainers pay $90 for a JLCM membership. Dues are set in the bylaws and subject to change. Dues are not prorated based on date or transfer. 

Emeritus members–at least 80 years old–do not pay dues.  

We ask that Sustainers submit a Change of Status form by April 1 to the our VP of Membership at vpmembership@jlcm.org, or pay their dues in full by April 15. 

Can I transfer into this League? I am new to Cobb County. 

YES! Start by contacting your current league to get the process in motion. You will need to transfer out of that league and request to transfer to the JLCM. Once you have initiated the process, please contact our VP of Membership at vpmembership@jlcm.org.
